Set up a new poll

To set up a poll for guests first enable the voting feature in the module where you want the poll to take place.

1. Go to the module in which you want to create further options for voting
2. Click on the “Voting” tab in the top right-hand corner of the main window of the module.
3. Click “Create a new Poll” at the bottom of the window that pops out.
4. Name the poll in the “Title” field.
5. Type some background information if required.
6. If you check the “Opinions” box, it will allow voters to explain why they voted the way they did.
7. If you check the “Public Results” box, the live results of the poll will be displayed to anyone connected and voting in real time.
8. If you check “Multiple Votes” box users can cast as many votes as they like.
9. Then click “Create Poll”.

Show/hide the poll

To show or hide a poll for guests first enable the voting feature in the module where you want the poll to take place. And then create the poll and options to vote on.

1. Go to the module where voting is enabled and open the voting tab by clicking on the link you created to the vote in the top right-hand corner of the main module window. Note that the tab will only be called “Voting” if you have not renamed it when you enabled it.
2. Click the green “Visible” button to make the vote available to users.
